The Miami Dolphins face the New England Patriots on Sunday, October 29, although they may miss the services of one key player. Will Tyreek Hill see action against the Patriots?

Based on the latest Tyreek Hill injury report of the Dolphins, the 29-year-old missed team practice on Wednesday, October 25, due to a hip injury, ABC News reported.

In the Dolphins' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the seven-time Pro Bowler briefly went out but returned to the game. He finished with 88 yards and a touchdown on 11 catches.

Although he was given a veteran's day off in the past, his current one is injury-related.

With Hill not around during practice, players like Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa admitted it was all a bit off.

"It was a little weird not having someone like Tyreek out there," Tagovailoa said after practice. "His leadership, his aura - but it calls for other guys to step up."

However, this means that players like Jaylen Waddle and Cedric Wilson Jr. may need to step up if Tyreek Hill's status for Sunday's game does not change. Tagovailoa admits that this would be a tall order for the team.

"I don't think anyone can emulate what Tyreek does on the field. His speed, his cuts in and out of breaks. ... If we couldn't have Tyreek, that would be tough, but the show goes on. You've got to continue to play, and somewhere down the line we're going to get Tyreek back," the Dolphins play-caller quipped.

Hill was not the only player missing at Dolphins practice on Wednesday. The other absentees were safety Jevon Holland, fullback Alec Ingold, offensive lineman Robert Jones, and running back Rasheem Mostert, ESPN reported.

Compounding the woes of Miami is that Xavier Howard, Connor Wiliams, and Jalen Ramsey were limited during practice. All three players did not play in Miami's last game.
