In the latest Packers news, Green Bay suffered a 19-17 loss to the Denver Broncos in their Week 7 matchup on Sunday, October 22. The disappointment was noticeable during the Matt LaFleur press conference.

"It is extremely frustrating, I think the only thing you can do (is stick together). It tests your resolve," the Green Bay Packers coach stated via Packers.com. "I do believe in the guys in that locker room, the character that we have. But it does test you, no question about it."

Suffering their fifth loss for the 2023-24 NFL season, the last thing that the Packers need right now is to fall apart. But considering they are coming off a bye week and then falling to a struggling Broncos team, answers are required.

Is LaFleur's job safe?

Given the struggles of the Packers, some feel that Green Bay would best consider a coaching change. Unless the team shows signs of progress, it will be interesting if Packers management will stick it out with the NFL veteran coach.

However, LaFleur is not the only one in the hot seat. Jordan Love is also in his first year as a starting quarterback. Although he is not a rookie, the fact is that he had three years to learn from Aaron Rodgers when the four-time NFL MVP was still in Green Bay, The Athletic reported.

But the blame is not entirely on Love. LaFleur is there to guide him, and their partnership has left much to be desired.

Looking ahead, both need to get on the same page. They need to figure out that fast as they face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8 action on October 30, where the Packers are favored to prevail per the Action Network.
