LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers knows what it takes to win and the things that follow. And it appears the 38-year-old knows what will likely go Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson's way after winning the 2023 WNBA championship on Wednesday, October 18.

"Signature shoe coming!!" the four-time NBA champion wrote on his Instagram

Considering the accomplishments of Wilson, there is no doubt that James was on cue in projecting the things headed the 27-year-old's way. She has won two WNBA regular season MVP awards and has shown no signs of slowing down.

Wilson was a vital cog for the Aces in their 70-69 victory over the New York Liberty at the Barclays Center on Wednesday, NBA.com reported.

The two-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year finished with a double-double performance of 24 points and 16 rebounds. Making it sweeter for her is that she also appended her basketball resume by bagging her first WNBA finals MVP plum.

Wilson destined for greatness

Aside from James, Stephen A. Smith also gave props to the 27-year-old forward, hailing her as one of the greatest female basketball players of all time when he spoke on ESPN's First Take on Thursday, October 19, via SI.com.

"When you look at A'ja Wilson - She's absolutely phenomenal," Smith stated. "We need to start talking about A'ja Wilson as one of the greatest female basketball players [of all time]. She's in the conversation in terms of her accomplishments as one of the greatest ever."
