Unfortunately for the Vikings, they also faced a 27-20 defeat at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs in this match-up.
The 24-year-old picked up the hamstring injury while cutting a route, slipping in the process with 12:49 remaining in the game.
Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell has hinted that the 2022 NFL Offensive Player of the Year will seek advice from multiple medical experts regarding his injury.
The team's priority is to ensure the 2022 First Team All-Pro selection's recovery and long-term well-being, as Jefferson has shown his eagerness to return quickly.

Vikings' Justin Jefferson injury status
O'Connell stated on Sunday evening that it was too soon to determine the severity of Jefferson's injury.
During his Monday press conference, the 38-year-old tactician mentioned that the wide receiver's injury is still undergoing evaluation.
"I'll keep you posted on what that timeline may look like and how his availability may be for this week or moving forward," O'Connell said on Monday, October 9.
Jefferson has earned a reputation for his durability, having not missed a single NFL game throughout his career.
The former LSU Tigers standout has been a consistent presence on the field, participating in an impressive 92 percent of the team's offensive snaps since he became a starter in Week 3 of the 2020 season.
