The Las Vegas Raiders are not doing well these days, and fans are pinning the blame on head coach Josh McDaniels.
Some have been calling on team management to replace the beleaguered coach. However, Raiders team owner Mark Davis responded to fans calling on him to fire Josh McDaniels.
One reason that may have irked Raiders fans was the late-game decisions made by McDaniels, moves that were meant to take points, Fox News reported.
Unfortunately, this failed to reap dividends, and McDaniels is now hearing it from fans and experts alike.
"What Josh McDaniels is doing on this series is 1000% more a fire-able decision than anything I've seen this weekend," CBS Sports betting expert Todd Fuhrman stated.
Considering the Raiders are 1-3 for the season, it is understandable that Las Vegas fans are upset. Their latest loss came at the hands of the Los Angeles Chargers, 17-24, on Sunday, October 1, extending their losing streak to three games, ESPN reported.
Frustration boiling over within the Raiders
Hence, aside from the Raiders fans, it is understandable that frustration is growing internally. One player who has been vocal about their misfortunes is All-Pro running back Josh Jacobs, who cited a lack of discipline and initiative from his teammates to do the "little things."
"It's too competitive and it's too many guys that's good out there to not do the little things right every play. Until we figure that out, this is going to be what it is," Jacobs rued.
And while he admits that it is frustrating, he remains upbeat that the Raiders will eventually settle down and figure things out.
"It's frustrating, man. And I mean, I feel like every day I go in there and work my ass off. So, eventually something's got to give," the 25-year-old RB added.
