The Colorado Buffaloes are back to square one after being brought down convincingly by the Oregon Ducks last weekend, 42-6. Things are not expected to get any easier for Buffs coach Deion Sanders and his boys, as they will face the undefeated USC Trojans.

Coach Prime spoke at a weekly news conference on Tuesday, September 26, and summed up the Buffaloes' upcoming clash with the Trojans as a David vs. Goliath scenario. It was the best way to put it, although Sanders managed to add some color to it in the end, USA Today reported.

"You've got to understand David's got to have a Goliath," the 56-year-old coach said. "If David don't have a Goliath, he don't get to use his stones."

The Buffs are 16-0 against a USC program dating back to 1927. Compounding their woes is that last year's Heisman Trophy winner, Caleb Williams, is at the helm of the Trojans offensive.

More bad news for the Buffs

Deion Sanders needs all the help he can get, but he could miss one more player against the Trojans - Shilo Sanders.

The 23-year-old defensive back suffered painful injuries that needed to be checked at a hospital, Fox News reported. It appears he was peeing blood, something Shilo believes happened when he made a tackle and landed on his kidney.

Deion Sanders also gave an update on Shilo Sanders' condition on Tuesday.

"He's doing better," Coach Sanders said. "We went to the hospital right after we landed. He's doing much better. We're praying that he heals and he's playing this weekend. He's a valuable part of our secondary and our team defensively."

The USC Trojans (-21.5) are heavy favorites to beat the Colorado Buffaloes when they clash on Saturday, September 30, per SI.com.
