Odell Beckham Jr.'s much-awaited debut with the Baltimore Ravens will have to wait.

The 2014 NFL Offensive of the Year's name was on the injury report for the Ravens' Week 1 matchup with the Houston Texans on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Aside from that, Beckham was also limited during team practice on Thursday, September 7, due to an ankle injury.

The move of the Ravens is understandable since Odell Beckham Jr. is coming off a torn ACL that he suffered at Super Bowl LVI when he was still playing for the Los Angeles Rams.

Beckham Jr. sat out the entire 2022 NFL season trying to recover, and the Baltimore Ravens are not taking any chances.

"The whole thing feels like a reset for me," Beckham said at a press conference on Wednesday via Baltimoreravens.com.

"There's been a lot of like déjà vu moments of little things happened. It just kind of feels reminiscent of my rookie year in a sense -- just the feeling of the excitement that I have to play football and just a new opportunity, a new life. So I don't know what to expect, but I'm excited," the Louisiana native added.
