The University of Iowa Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark has been enjoying her time before she enters her senior season in the institution.
The women's basketball star shared photos with her boyfriend, former Iowa men's basketball player Connor McCaffery while sailing.
"Best end to summer," the decorated player wrote in the caption.
McCaffery played for six seasons with the Hawkeyes under his father, longtime Iowa coach Fran McCaffery. The guard's career assist-to-turnover ratio of 3.59, which includes 527 assists and 147 turnovers, is the second-best in NCAA history.
Meanwhile, Clark broke several records during her team's NCAA championship tournament run over the spring. She set the women's basketball scoring and assist record in a single NCAA tournament, where they reached the championship game, albeit losing to LSU, 102-85.
The 21-year-old is widely considered among the best college basketball players in the country, and she was recently immortalized as a butter sculpture at the Iowa State Fair earlier this month.
Connor McCaffery is a member of the NBA coaching staff
The 25-year-old recently joined the coaching staff of the Indiana Pacers at the end of last May.
"It's a way in. It's an entry-level job. You've got to work hard and work your way up. That's obviously what I want to do," McCaffery said.
Part of the tasks of the novice assistant coach is to help run the scout team, assist with film study, and do anything else the Pacers coaching staff needs.
