Aaron Rodgers was not sold on the idea that "Hard Knocks," an American football documentary show, would cover the New York Jets' preparation for the new season as he deemed it a distraction.
The first episode, however, showed that there's something about the docu that can make the four-time All-Star feel excited.
Rodgers was all smiles in greeting the show's voice and actor Liv Schreiber, even labeling him as the voice of god.
"It's the voice of God! You guys didn't say hi? Go say hi! It's the voice of God!" he told the other Jets quarterback.
He then turned his attention to offensive coordinator Daniel Hackett.
"Go say hi! Don't be an ass****. He's nervous, he wants to meet people."
The smile on Rodgers' face in the episode is the polar opposite of what he showed in July when asked about the Jets getting featured in Hard Knocks.
"Obviously there's a lot of eyes on me," he said during an appearance at the American Century Championships.
"A lot of eyes on our team. A lot of expectations for our squad. They forced it down our throats and we gotta deal with it."
Rodgers' appearance in another show
Jets fans can have a more in-depth look at the team's preparation for next season through the One Jets Drive.
There, a more focused, not distracted-Rodgers, breaks down what to expect from his team after the summer retooling.
"To be talked about as one of those teams, now we have to go out and put it together and do it for 17 regular season weeks and then do it in the playoffs."
