Elizabeth Cambage sat down with Bleacher Report's Taylor Rooks to discuss her career and life, including the controversial issues thrown at her.
One topic they touched on was her time with the Los Angeles Sparks and how it abruptly ended.
The four-time All-Star suggested she left her last WNBA team due to a lack of teammates that complemented her skills.
"Was warming up for the game, I remember being on court and just like few disrespectful [Sparks] teammates yelling at me because they don't know how to throw a lob pass to me at the post," she told Rook when asked to detail her last year in the league.
"I'm really dealing with like girls, yelling at me because they are frustrated with how they don't know how to throw the ball to me."
She said everything felt bottled up during a game in Las Vegas.
"And then there was another play [during a game in Vegas] and this teammate of mine came up and was just like yelling at me again. I got subbed off. I sit on the bench and I sat down next to Chiney. I'm like, 'Im done'. Like 'This is it.'"
Jordin Canada calls cap
To belittle your former teammates for everyone to see and hear is not something you see every day.
Her former teammate Jordin Canada was among those who saw a clip of the interview and instantly called Cambage's claims a lie by tweeting an emoji with a long nose.
She also called on Bleacher Report to get her side of the story.
"I usually keep to myself and mind my business but Bleacher Report if y'all want the REAL TRUTH, call me. #IYKYK ."
Jordin only spent one season with Cambage in Sparks, who's now with Maccabi Bnot Ashdod.
Bleacher Report should grant Canada's request.
