Chelsea star right-back Reece James reacted to his sister Lauren's sensational performance for England in their final group stage game against China in the 2023 FIFA Women's Word Cup on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old forward put on an astonishing display, being involved in five of England's goals by scoring twice and dishing out three assists in her team's 6-1 domination of the Chinese women's national team.

Reece showed pride in his sibling's performance, reposting Lauren's post after the game on his Instagram story with the caption "Another day @ the office," alongside two football emojis and three capital A's, referring to his sister's two goals and hat-trick of assists.

England are through to the tournament's knockout stages, topping Group D by winning all three of their group stage fixtures with a goal difference of seven. They claimed two 1-0 wins against Haiti and Denmark before the China match.

England is set to face Nigeria in the round of 16 on Monday, August 7.

Reece James says Lauren is better than some men's players

The Chelsea star ranks his sister more favorably than some Premier League players.

Reece previously stated that Lauren, who also plays for Chelsea's women's team, is the best female footballer in the world.

The 23-year-old added that his younger sibling's technique is better than some players in the highest tier of men's English football.
