Authorities have confirmed that PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and his wife were victimized by burglars and were even tied up at their home in Paris.
Aside from getting assaulted, they also lost at least $500,000 worth of goods.
"[Mino] Raiola is aware of an incident concerning Gianluigi Donnarumma and his partner in the early hours of this morning," the player's agency said in a statement.
"They are in shock at what happened but doing well under the terrible circumstances. Both are assisting the police with their inquiries. Gigi, and his partner, Raiola, will be making no further comment until the police complete their investigation. We ask you to respect Gigi and his partner's privacy at this time."

Authorities said the couple somehow escaped and took refuge in a nearby hotel whose staff were accommodating and alerted the police about their ordeal.
They also suggested that the crime could have been premeditated.
"An investigation has been opened on charges of armed robbery in an organized gang and aggravated violence following the events that took place overnight at Mr. Donnarumma's place," a spokesperson for the Paris prosecutor's office told the BBC.
Gigi will still travel with PSG to Japan
Despite what he went through, Gigi will still travel with the team for a tour in Japan as part of their pre-season preparations.
The club will play three matches in the East Asian country, one each against home club Cerezo Osaka, Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr, and Serie A's Inter Milan.
