The company was named AlphaTauri in 2020 to promote Red Bull's fashion brand. Marko also confirmed that aside from a new name, the team will also get new sponsors.
The AlphaTauri fashion brand is also running at a considerable loss.
In recent years, AlphaTauri has increasingly gone its own way instead of following the company's flagship Red Bull Racing team. They are now designing many of their own parts. Marko wants the practice to stop.
"The course is clear: Follow Red Bull Racing as far as the regulations allow. Designing your own is not the way," the 80-year-old executive said.
Red Bull Racing won the 2022 Constructors' championship, while AlphaTauri finished second to the last.

AlphaTauri Is Red Bull's Sister Team
Since reverting to the AlphaTauri name in 2020, the team upgraded from becoming Red Bull's junior team to a sister team.
Unlike Red Bull, which is based in Milton Keynes, England, AlphaTauri is based in Faenza, Italy, after the energy drink company bought off the former Italian team Minardi in 2006, including their assets and factory based in the country.
The team was formerly known as Scuderia Toro Rosso, the literal Italian translation of "Red Bull Racing Team."
Several notable drivers made their F1 debuts for the team, including reigning champion Max Verstappen, four-time champion Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo, Carlos Sainz Jr., Pierre Gasly, and Alexander Albon.
