Real Madrid and Brazil star Vinicius Jr. received racial abuse from Valencia supporters in the Los Blancos' 1-0 loss at the Mestalla Stadium.

The talented winger looked like he was on the verge of tears while the abuse was ongoing.

Vinicius was subsequently sent off in the 97th minute after an altercation with Valencia players.

Vini Jr. Speaks on Racial Abuse

The 22-year-old posted a lengthy response on Instagram, saying that it's not the first time that he was subject to racist chants in La Liga, with abuse happening on a weekly basis.

He also slammed La Liga and the Royal Spanish Football Federation, claiming they are encouraging the matter and that "the championship that once belonged to Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Cristiano, and Messi, today belongs to the racists."

While Vinicius mentioned that Spain is a country that welcomed him and he loves, the country is known in his homeland Brazil as a country of racists.

He ended the caption by saying, "I'm strong and will go to the end against the racists."

Vinicius also went into a back-and-forth exchange with La Liga president Javier Tebas on Twitter.

The president reprimanded the player after today's incident, tweeting in Spanish that they tried to explain what La Liga can do about racism, but Vinicius hasn't shown up to any of the two agreed dates that he requested.

The Real Madrid winger answered that instead of criticizing racists, the president of La Liga appeared on social media to attack him.

Several players showed support for the Brazilian, including PSG star Kylian Mbappe.
