UFC president Dana White and revered fighter Conor McGregor will meet on Monday to discuss the future of the latter with the company.

McGregor will appear before the Brooklyn Criminal Court this Thursday, June 14, after initiating the bus attack in Brooklyn, New York, last April, which left several people injured. The Irishman who is set to face at least seven years of jail time is currently working on a plea deal to serve no prison time. The Jiu-Jitsu brown-belter is charged with three counts of assault and one charge of criminal mischief.

White told TMZ Sports that he and McGregor will finally meet next week after the latter failed to show up in the previously scheduled meetings. However, White did not reveal the location of their discussion next week. The two was supposed to meet at UFC Fight Night 130 in Liverpool, England, last month, but the meeting did not materialize.

"He and I are meeting on the 18th of this month. I don't know what's gonna happen. I don't know what Conor has planned. I don't know what Conor and his team have worked on. Whatever happens (on Thursday), I will be as shocked as you," White revealed.

Uncertain Future With UFC

Things started going sideways for McGregor since the incident, as the company stripped him of the UFC Lightweight title. Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov went on to win the vacant lightweight crown after beating Al Iaquinta at UFC 223 in April.

McGregor, who holds an impressive 9-1 win-loss UFC record, last fought in August of last year against Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match. Overall, his mixed martial arts record stands at 21 victories and three losses. Nicknamed as "The Notorious," the 29-year-old McGregor has been a wrecking machine in the UFC since his debut in 2013.

The Dublin, Ireland, native has been nothing short of phenomenal by beating Marcus Brimage, Diego Brandao, Dustin Poirier, Dennis Siver, Chad Mendes, Jose Aldo, and Eddie Alvarez all by knockouts or technical knockouts. Additionally, he has also defeated Nate Diaz via a majority decision two years ago, and Max Holloway via a unanimous decision. His lone loss came in the hands of Diaz in March 2016.

McGregor, who turned professional in 2008, is among the quickest fighters in the UFC today. According to statistics, the 155-pound fighter has avoided 57 percent total strikes and 74 percent total takedowns. McGregor has also 18 wins courtesy of knockouts, 13 first-round finishes, and has won 17 of his last 18 MMA bouts.
