With the technology changing with every minute and specs are getting outdated every day, we have Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6 here to push us in the dilemma over which one should a user buy.

LG G6 flaunts glass and metal finish with its screen covering 85% of the front. The phone is a flat slab which makes it an eye-catcher. On the other hand, as usual, Samsung Galaxy S8 is a curvy device with makes it attractive and tempting to hold. It seems that Samsung and LG have decided to drop long-standard 16:9 aspect ratio to break the monotony.

Samsung Galaxy S8 features 18.5:9 for its 5.8 inches panel (2960 x 1440) while G6 goes for 18:9 screen at 5.7 inches (2880 x 1440). Both the phones come with mobile HDR capabilities to aid in better contrast between light and dark colours. While S8 has gone for AMOLED panel, G6 is still at Quantum IPS LCD. So, in this segment too, Samsung seems to emerge as the winner.

LG G6 comes with 3,300mAh battery with FastCharge 3.0 via USB-C but no wireless charging outside USA. Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S8 features 3,000mAh battery and has both wireless and fast charging, reports Gadget 360. Also, G6 offers 32 GB starting storage and Galaxy S8 provides 64 GB in the starting.

Samsung Galaxy S8 also features infinity display, reports Business Today. Now when it comes to clicking quality pictures, any manufacturer will have to give tough competition to Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with 12-megapixel main camera with f/1.7 aperture, which clicks three picture at a time and reduces blur everytime after noise reduction, pixel binning, sharpening, and shake reduction. However, LG G6 features traditional 13 MP dual camera. Also, in dim light, the pictures taken from LG G6 aren't as great as the ones clicked from Samsung Galaxy S8.
