The latest update on the Call of Duty 2017 game may well have a World War 2 setting on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC consoles. A YouTube channel named FamilyVideoGamers have leaked a video promoting a World War 2 setting for the upcoming Call of Duty 2017.

That video includes a promotional poster featuring the D-Day landings, in addition to the various steel-book cases for this particular game. The video also goes into the inside details of the game, images which were sent by an unknown source is said to have a history of leaking successfully about game releases and updates in the past.

Few of the users who use Reddit claimed that some of the stills of this update are from Saving Private Ryan, but the proof to relate the claim isn't available till date. It will be a pinch of salt thing to hear these things but many can take it until Activision announce about Call of Duty 2017.

This year's Call of Duty shooter installment is taken up by the Sledgehammer Games. Based on their old Twitter post, Sledgehammer previously suggested that the new Call of Duty would be fully set in London and will feature during great world wars. The above-mentioned leaks are also pointing towards the same direction.

A snippet was released on New Year's day featured an old engine, possibly a steam engine as suspected by many, that vibrates with force into life before the dial turns to 2017. When those numbers get aligned, we can hear an old-chime noise which is possibly the sound of Big Ben in London.

Glenn Schofield, the boss of Sledgehammer games also has posted some teasers related to Call of Duty 2017. He tweeted saying he was tied to not reveal much information, just stated that there are boots and ground in addition to some roots.
