Houston Police Department Honored For Their Contribution In Finding Tom Brady's Stolen Super Bowl Jersey

The Houston Police Department have been honored for their immense contribution in finding Super Bowl champion Tom Brady's stolen jersey. The jersey was earlier stolen by a media representative the day when Brady helped New England Patriots win the Super Bowl LI match.

Massachusetts State Representative Harold Naughton mentioned the Houston Police Department during his presentation on Monday and recognized their effort for this particular case. The Massachusetts House of Representative's Public Safety and Homeland Safety Committee is chaired by Naughton and he is traveling most of Houston for business purpose.

Tom Brady will get back the jerseys that were stolen after his Super Bowl 2017 and 2015 games, the FBI confirmed this news after they received the jerseys last week at the Gillette Stadium. Brady's 2017 Super Bowl jersey was picked off from the Patriots' locker room after their win over Atlanta Falcons. Investigation agencies joined hands thereafter to find the special thing and range investigation stretched from Boston to Mexico.

Mexican authorities also joined hands to search the property of suspect media executive Martin Mauricio Ortega. Eventually, the property was found with him along with another Brady jersey which was stolen in 2015 Super Bowl. Along with those items, a Denver Broncos helmet was also found.

The criminal Ortega hasn't been charged by the police so far and neither has he commented on it. But, it will not be too long before he gets any charge. Patriots released a statement via owner Robert Kraft stating they are looking forward to returning the jerseys back to Brady once he returns to New England.

During the statement, Kraft thanked all the investigation agencies including FBI, Mexican authorities, Houston Police and other law forces who were involved in the investigation that picked up due to the stature of the player.
