A new Meizu smartphone has been certified recently by the Chinese telecommunication authority TENAA. The device is listed as M621C-S on TENAA and is powered by a chipset with octa-core 1.8GHz processor.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturing brand Meizu is generally known for its originality in its smartphone. According to a recently leaked product schedule, the company is supposed to launch six smartphones within this year. However as of now only one of those six smartphones have been launched and the second is rumored to come out in June, as reported by Gizbot.

A new Meizu smartphone has cleared the TENAA certification. The device is identified as M621C-S on the TENAA website listing and the model is reportedly powered by a chipset with octa-core 1.8GHz processor and device features a 5.5-inch full HD display.

The listing, on the other hand, also gave us pictures of the device from all four sides. The renders look quite similar to those of Meizu M5S which came to the market last month and given the listed model name.

According to the listing on TENAA the new Meizu smartphone has a dimension of 153.6 x 75.6 x 8.15mm and is weighed at 175g. Device sports a 5.5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The device will be available in 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM versions as noted in the listing and will be powered by a 1.8GHz processor which would most possibly be a MediaTek Helio P25 chip. On the Storage side, the smartphone will be available in the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions with an expandable microSD slot that will support up to 128GB.

New Meizu smartphone will be running on Android Marshmallow and carries a 3920mAh battery. Connectivity options in the device include 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. In terms of camera specs, the device features a 13MP rear camera sensor with a round LED flash and a 5MP camera on the front side, as noted by GSM Arena.

We can't say if this smartphone is the same model that received 3C certification a few das back however, its appearance on TENAA may be an indication its launch is drawing closer. Whenever the device releases, the device is said to be available in white, silver and blue colors.
