Instagram and Facebook offer the kind of integration that can't be found in other social media. Facebook lets the user share images directly from the Instagram to the timeline. As everyone knows, Facebook bought Instagram some years ago so it now allows linking accounts.

There are several benefits of linking Facebook and Instagram accounts. The user will be able to post on two social media platforms by posting only on one platform. Users who want to increase their followers must use social synchronization to stay connected with their followers by posting on only one site.

As written in Yahoo Tech, Facebook has a larger user base (1.86 billion) than Instagram (600 million) that will allow users to reach more people. Also, Instagram's algorithmic feed prioritizes posts with higher engagement, so getting more likes could help the content rank higher in the News Feed. As Facebook has a larger user base, people who are not using Instagram can also see photos and videos one shared on Instagram to stay connected.

All of Instagram's post details including captions, location, hashtags, and emoticons will be shared to Facebook. Every upload will be saved in an album called "Instagram photos" on Facebook that allows the user to tag friends as well.

Here is the process how one can link Instagram to Facebook guided by Digital Trends. The process of linking Facebook and Instagram accounts is almost same on both Android and iOS. The user has to go to settings menu via the profile tab for Android or the gear icon in the upper-right for iOS.

From the list of options, select Linked Accounts in which the user will find a list of social media platform that offers integration with Instagram. After selecting Facebook and entering credentials, one-off login will give Instagram access to Facebook public profile information. Then, Facebook will ask the user to select the audience i.e. friends, public, only me.

The user will have to enable Facebook's correspondence button every time while sharing a photo on Instagram. There is no option to share every content on Facebook by default. The user can also remove the integration by removing Instagram from the Apps in Facebook profile.
