Many wrestling fans expect several NXT superstars to get called up to the main roster and make an impact on Raw and SmackDown Live after WrestleMania 33. According to the latest WWE rumors, Shinsuke Nakamura and Asuka are some of the rumored names making their main roster debuts.

In last year's post-WrestleMania 32 shows, several NXT stars made their debuts including Enzo Amore, Big Cass, The Vaudevillains, Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin. Marc Normandin of Cageside Seats listed several NXT stars due for a call-up after WrestleMania 33 either on Raw or SmackDown Live.

Shinsuke Nakamura

The most obvious choice for a possible call-up after WrestleMania 33 is Shinsuke Nakamura. "The King of Strong Styles" is more than ready for the main roster and he could change the landscape of the WWE. He is set to challenge Bobby Roode for the NXT championship at NXT TakeOver: Orlando and if he loses, he is surely going to the main roster.

Asuka

"The Empress of Tomorrow" is still undefeated and the longest-reigning NXT women's champion of all-time. She is advertised for the NXT Tour of the United Kingdom in July but the WWE could put her on double duty. Asuka is also ready for the main roster with Ember Moon ready to take over the NXT women's division.

The Revival

Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder are also candidates to get their call-up to the main roster. They can add depth to Raw or SmackDown Live's tag team divisions. The Revival is the perfect heel tag team to put over babyfaces like Enzo Amore & Big Cass and American Alpha.

Other possible call-ups

According to Sportskeeda, "The Drifter" Elias Sampson is rumored to be going to the main roster after losing a Loser Leaves NXT Match against Kassius Ohno. It is also possible that he's just getting repackaged. Other possible call-ups this year include Johnny Gargano, Tomasso Ciampa and Tye Dillinger.
