Kane to run for mayor of Knox County, Tennessee

Kane has been absent on WWE television since late last year when he defeated Baron Corbin in an episode of SmackDown Live. He went on hiatus to heal injuries but it seems like he was doing more during his time off.

According to WCYS.com, Kane has filed paperwork to appoint a political treasurer as he prepares to run for mayor of Knox County in Tennessee. The 49-year-old wrestling legend and insurance have been open about his desire to run for a mayoral seat. Kane identifies himself as a Republican.

Kane has until November this year to file a nominating petition for the election on May 1, 2018. Glenn and his wife Crystal has been living in Tennessee since 1995. Kane has been part of the WWE for more than two decades and he is a future Hall of Famer.

Mauro Ranallo suffering from depression attack

The voice of SmackDown Live, Mauro Ranallo, has been absent on television for the past couple of weeks. He first got stuck in the snowstorm two weeks ago and he was absent this past Tuesday because he was "sick".

According to Wrestling Inc, Ranallo was suffering from a bout with depression since last week. He was visibly absent on social media and fans were worried about his status. He is reportedly getting better but there is no timetable for his return. The 47-year-old commentator has bipolar disorder and he has been open about his battles with depression.

More female WWE superstars gets hacked

Paige is not the only female WWE superstar hit by the recent online leak of nude pictures, videos and sex tapes. According to The Sun, former WWE divas Maria Kanellis, Victoria and Kaitlyn were all hacked this week.

Summer Rae also was part of the hack wherein nude photos of her surfaced online. However, the 33-year-old denied that the pictures are real. She has not been on WWE television since July last year due to a knee injury but she is rumored to be returning at WrestleMania 33.
