Apple will launch its iPad mini 5, also known as iPad Pro mini, on April 4 with three other iPads. Apple will announce these iPads on the inauguration of the company's new headquarters.

All iPads will get the 'Pro' name, including iPad mini. There will be a 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2, a 10.5-inch iPad Pro and iPad mini Pro.

As written in 9to5Mac, analytics firm Fiksu reported that they have seen four new Apple iPad device identifiers appear in their logs iPad 7,1; iPad 7, 2; iPad 7, 3 and iPad 7, 4. These as-yet-announced iPads were used to test a range of popular applications and run iOS 10.3.Current iPad Pro devices on the market have iPad 6, x identifiers.

Fiksu gathers its data from app developers tracking apps from App Store where it was used. All of the usages was from the greater San Francisco area - Cupertino and some nearby locations. The four iPad identifiers do not indicate four different Apple iPads but there might be two iPads with Wi-Fi and cellular versions that have different identifiers.

According to Mirror, Apple is expected to trip the bezel around the edges of the tablet and introduce an OLED display for the first time. AppleiPad mini 5 will come with an upgraded A9 processor so it will run faster. The camera will be the same so there will be 8-megapixel primary camera and 1.2-megapixel secondary camera.

Apple iPads will come in 32 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB storage variants that are same in current iPad Pro models. Both 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch iPad Pro will support Apple Pencil. All four tablets will be available in Silver, Space Gray, Gold and Rose Gold color.
