The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the highly anticipated smartphone coming this year. Earlier reports have said that Samsung will uncover the said device late this month and then followed by its release. However, latest news is saying that the launch of the Galaxy S8 will be delayed on its original date.

Samsung Galaxy S8 is the incoming flagship phone for the giant South Korean tech company this year. This is part of Samsung innovation to give their loyal users another high-end device and keep abreast to other smartphone makers. But consumers will be sad to know that the launch of Galaxy S8 will take a little setback.

According to The Investor, as Samsung looking to reveal the Samsung Galaxy S8 simultaneously in New York City and London on March 29, 2017, the release of the said smartphone will be delayed on Samsung's initial plan. However, Samsung will still push thru the pre-order of the Samsung Galaxy S8 on April 10 as planned.

The reason behind its delay is the further development of the said device following the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 fiasco. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus is supposed to be release on April 21 but will most likely move on another date as per recent reports.

According to BGR, the scheduled release of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will be pushed back to April 28 one week behind its original release. But consumers must not be disheartened as Samsung is doing its best to prevent the tragic Galaxy Note 7 from happening again.

Though Samsung will still use the 3000 mAh for Samsung Galaxy S8 and 3500 mAh for Galaxy S8 Plus, the South Korean tech company assure the safety of its consumer as they improved some other features of the said devices. Both smartphones will sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor that will somehow reduce the battery capacity and will not trigger additional heat on the phone.

Aside from the battery and processor, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will also feature a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED screen while the Galaxy S8 Plus will present a huge 6.2-inch display. Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will still have 64 GB internal storage plus a 4 GB RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 new home button will incorporate a finger sensor that is said to be placed at the back of the phone near the rear camera. The phone is rumored to have a separate button for the new artificial intelligence assistant Bixby.
