Jeremy Lin scored 11 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter as the Brooklyn Nets defeated the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday. Lin was on his way to a bad game but he exploded in the final quarter to help the Nets earn their 11th win of a very difficult season.

The Nets entered the game with the worst record in the NBA at 10-50 and it was their sixth straight road game following the All-Star break. The team has only won one game during the road trip but Jeremy Lin and Sean Kilpatrick made sure that the Nets are going to take a 122-109 victory against the Grizzlies.

Jeremy Lin had a total of 18 points in just 23 minutes but he caught fire in the final quarter, per NBA.com. He scored 11 points in the fourth that included a dagger three with 1:43 left to seal the blowout win.

It was a very good performance for the Nets as they pull away from the Grizzlies in the last quarter after a back-and-forth start to the game. Sean Kilpatrick's 23 points, five rebounds and three assists off the bench was also a big factor in the win since Brook Lopez struggled with just eight points.

In an interview with Newsday, Jeremy Lin praised his teammates' hard work to get the much-needed victory on Monday. It was Lin's sixth straight start after missing 26 games since Dec. 26, 2016 due to a strained right hamstring.

"This is the culmination of a lot of people's hard work and I'm not even including myself in it. These guys have battled it out many nights and didn't get anything for it. But tonight we grinded it out, got the rebounds and made all the little dirty plays we talked about," Jeremy Lin said after the game.

The Nets will travel to Atlanta next and face the Hawks on Wednesday. They end their road trip on Friday against the Dallas Mavericks before coming home to Brooklyn and facing the New York Knicks in front of their hometown crowd.
