Deron Williams is very keen to finishing his career at Utah Jazz despite joining the Cavaliers at the NBA trade deadline day, although the Jazz were linked with Williams too. On Wednesday night, he played his first game for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Williams' debut for the Cavaliers was quite inauspicious, he finished with four points on 2-of-8 shooting and missed a potential game-winner with as less as 10 clicks remaining in the game. Despite that miss, the Cavaliers are banking on Williams to deliver the goods and take them back to being NBA champions. On the same lines, Williams is keen to prove a point that he is still as match-winner and the best point guard in the NBA.

To be honest, there is still plenty of basketball left in the former Jazz player, with the potential long-term injury to Kevin Durant, experts are taking Cavaliers over the Golden State Warriors in the seven-game Finals series.

According to Tim McMahon of ESPN, Williams could potentially hang up his boots at the place where it all began, at the Salt Lake City. The player could be a nice consolation for the Jazz if they lose Hill this summer. What's more than the player himself saying he is keen to finish his career at the team who draft him in firslty.

Whether or not the reunion happens, many feel that Williams' past with Gordon Hayward and Joe Johnson would potentially stop it from happening. But, in contrast many believe that the times have passed and cooler heads would prevail.

Whatever happens to Hill this summer, Jazz should take a good look at Williams this coming summer, they should look if he is still up and running with 17 average and nine during his five-year stint with them. Maybe he will not be that good but he is still good enough to make a good team look better.
