The Tennessee Titans are making headlines again this coming 2017 NFL Draft. After their surprising decision in the last year's draft, the Titans is once again proclaiming that they are willing to trade their pick in this year's draft. Will they use it to get New Orleans Saints WR Brandin Cooks?

Overall, the Tennessee Titans have a good performance last season as they almost make it to the playoffs. They are tied with the Houston Texans with a 9-7 win-loss record but due to the superior quotient, the Texans clinched the AFC South division and consequently the fourth seed in the AFC. And now, they seem to take another leap of faith this coming season to make up last season.

According to ESPN, Tennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson have stated that they are willing to trade their no. 5 pick in the coming NFL draft just like they did last year. Robinson further stated that they 'open for business' for their pick if there are teams willing to have it for the right price.

Going back to last year, the Tennessee Titans made a bold move of trading their no. 1 pick to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for multiple drafts picks last year and this year. And as history goes, the Rams used that pick to acquire quarterback Jared Goff. And it appears that they are going the same direction again with the New Orleans Saints as the potential trade partner this time.

According to CBSSports, the New Orleans Saints are reportedly looking for a trade deal that will move wide receiver Brandin Cooks. And two teams that are allegedly showing interest on Cooks are the Tennessee Titans and Philadelphia Eagles. But it seems that the Titans have the upper hand against the Eagles on getting the 23-year old wide receiver from Oregon State.

The Tennessee Titans could give up their no. 18 overall pick in the coming draft to the New Orleans Saints for Brandin Cooks in a direct swap. Another option is the Titans sending their no. 5 pick to Saints in exchange for Cooks plus Saints no. 11 pick. Both are a viable deal for both teams and it will now depend on which proposal are in the best interest for both of them.

Will the rumored deal between the Tennessee Titans and New Orleans Saints involving Brandin Cooks prosper?
