The Mobile World Congress, though being the biggest mobile phone event witnessed the launch of Tablet, Laptops and convertibles. Tech giants like the Samsung and Porsche showcased their magnificently developed devices and brought in all the attention of enthusiasts. Below mentioned are some of the launches made by the tech giants other than the mobile phones.


Samsung Galaxy Tab S3: Samsung, the South Korean tech giant might not have launched Galaxy S8 and S8+ flagships at MWC 2017, but the company launched the most awaited tablet Galaxy Tab S3 with amazing specifications and features.

The Galaxy Tab S3 sports a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED Full HD screen and an S-pen technology. The S pen has an advantage of up to 4000 levels of pressure sensitivity. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, paired with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage, and microSD card slot for the best performance.

The Galaxy Tab S3 runs Android 7.0 Nougat and features a 13-megapixel shooter at the rear and a 5MP camera at the front as a selfie shooter. Samsung offers a 4K video recording capability at 30fps in this device. There is a USB Type-C port for charging and connectivity and a powerful 6000 mAh battery with fast charging tech equipped inside the device. The device also includes a dual-band WiFi ac, USB Type-C, and 4G connectivity.

Porsche Design Book One: The Porsche Design Book One 2-in-1 laptop is a fully brushed-aluminum shell and chiseled corners laptop. It features an automotive inspired 360-degrees hinge screen with the capability of detachment from the keyboard. The device sports a touch QHD display of 13.5 inch glossy IPS screen, protected by Gorilla Glass 4 having a sky-high resolution of 3200x1800 pixels.

Under the hood, Book One is powered by a 7th generation Intel Kaby Lake Core i7 processor paired with 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM (at 1,866MHz) and 512GB SSD storage to boost the performance.

The Design Book One laptop also features a 5MP front camera, backlit keyboard, precision touchpad, an infrared camera for enabling Windows Hello face authentication, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB-c ports and one of the USB-C ports.

Samsung Galaxy Book: Samsung inspired by the Surface Book also showcased Galaxy Books at the MWC 2017. Samsung Galaxy Book comes in two different screen sizes-10.6-inch and 12-inch.

The Galaxy Book 10.6-inch device features a 10.6-inch Full HD display. Under the hood, it is powered by the 7th generation Intel Core M processor clocked at 2.6Ghz and paired with 4Gb of RAM. Both the devices come in either 64GB or 128GB on-boards storage with an option of further expansion up to 256GB via micro SD card. It also features a 5MP with a video recording FullHD at 30fps support, S pen and attachable keyboard, Type-C port, Dual band Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and LTE will come as an option.

The 12-inch Galaxy Book sports a 12-inch FHD Super AMOLED display. Under the hood, it has a powerful 7th generation Intel Core i5 processor clocked at 3.1GHz paired with 4GB or 8GB of RAM. The device comes in two variants- 128GB coupled with 4GB RAM or 256GB coupled with 8GB RAM. Also, an option of expandable memory up to 256GB is provided.

12-inch Galaxy Book is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera with FullHD video recording capabilities, S pen and attachable keyboard, two USB Type-C connectors, Dual Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and optional LTE.
