The New York Knicks started the season with high hopes with acquisitions of two former all-star players and several veterans. The season however didn't turn out as expected and with the team waiving Brandon Jennings, the once stand out rookie will be playing for a different team.

Brandon Jennings was waived by the New York Knicks on Monday. The team then signed Chasson Randle to replace him. For the New York Knicks, the release may signal the start of a revamp of the roster but Jennings, it may be a sign for a new beginning.
Apparently for the Knicks, Jennings' play does not fit with the the triangle offense which led to his release according to NBA. The point guard averaged 8.6 points and a team high 4.9 assists per game playing mostly as a back up to Derrick Rose. Brandon Jennings could have flourished with more playing time but it seems his strengths do net mesh well with the Knicks' offensive system.

Brandon Jennings is still a capable point guard that can play as a starting point guard in some teams but could be better as an offensive threat off the bench. There are several teams that are in need of a back up point guard that can facilitate plays and create some offence.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have started the season without a decent back up point guard like Brandon Jennings. However, recent rumors have the Cavaliers signing Deron Williams instead.

His former team the Detroit Pistons is also a possible option for Brandon Jennings which will reunite him with his former teammates. The Detroit Pistons have been rumored to have an interest in the point guard position. But according to Detroit News, a reunion with Jennings is unlikely with Ish Smith performing well.

Brandon Jennings's former coach Stan Van Gundy predicts that the point guard will sign with the Charlotte Hornets according to CBS. The Hornets hearing about the prediction, said that the team is happy with Briante Weber which will makes it unlikely that Jennings will join the team.

The Washington Wizards on the other hand has expressed interest in signing Brandon Jennings according ESPN. Jennings would be good back to all star John Wall.
