Marcus Smart of the Boston Celtics has been known for his defensive prowess evidenced by producing 19 steals over the course of 5 games. His recent production placed him third at the position pool on the Player Rater in the NBA Fantasy League in the past two weeks.

For guards, Cleveland Cavaliers' Kyle Korver (33.4 ownership percentage) can be a good pick up for NBA Fantasy League players. His stellar play following his transfer to Lebron James' team has worked wonders for the sharpshooter.

Denver Nugget's duo of Will Barton (55.4 ownership percentage) and Gary Harris (38.3 ownership percentage) are also good options for guards in the NBA Fantasy League. Both players earn a spot in the top 11 shooting guards over the course of two weeks.

Dallas has waived their starting point guard Deron Williams with Yogi Ferrell taking his place in the starting role.
