Recently, word of two future Jordan releases got the sneaker world buzzing. Apart from reports saying that the classic Air Jordan 1 Mid “New Love” is set for a return to retailers later this year, word has also leaked that the Air Jordan “Red Suede” is set for a July 1 release.

As noted by Sole Collector, Jordan Brand announced that it would be releasing a red suede Air Jordan 5, much like 2009’s Air Jordan 5 “Raging Bull.” According to the report, the difference between the two releases lies in the Air Jordan 5 “Red Suede’s” red lace eyelets, netting and a midsole. Both sneakers sport a red suede upper. Air Jordan 5 “Red Suede” will reportedly retail for $190 when it releases on July 1.

The Air Jordan 5 “Red Suede,” as pointed out by Sneaker News, features an updated mesh ventilation cage on the side panel. It is also equipped with a matching University Red midsole accented by an icy outsole, and given a nice contrast by the Jordan 5’s iconic shark teeth in black. Old school Jordan fans are in for a treat as Air Jordan 5 “Red Suede” also features a 3M reflective tongue and a translucent outsole.

This month saw the release of the Air Jordan XXXI “All-Star,” which as the name suggests, came out just in time for the 2017 All-Star Game. The Feb 16 release retails for $200. Other future Jordan releases include Air Jordan 6 “Alternate,” scheduled for a Mar. 3 release; Air Jordan 1 “Royal,” to be released on a yet to be disclosed date in April; the Air Jordan 4 “Pure Money,” on May 13; the Air Jordan 4 “Black/Royal” on June 17. Following the Air Jordan 5 “Red Suede’s” July release is the Air Jordan 13 “Flint,” which comes out in September.
