Conor McGregor News: The Notorious Says He Will Punch Floyd Mayweather's Head If The Fight Takes Place

Current UFC lightweight champion, Conor Mcgregor said in an interview that he will knock the head of Floyd Mayweather "clean of his shoulder" and "into the bleachers" if the fight between these two take place.

Speculation has been raged that a potential showdown between McGregor and Mayweather will soon to take place. Mayweather currently has a perfect 49-0 record in fighting before he retired in 2015. When asked about the prospect of fighting against the boxing perfectionist and the man who is known as "the Money", the UFC sensation McGregor was quite adamant he would knock him off.

In an interview to the GQ magazine, McGregor said his fist is even bigger than his head. He sleeps people and has the ability to put people to unconsciousness. He further says if he hits a man with his punch, his head is gonna end up in the bleachers. If he cracks a little head of Mayweather, it's gonna go off his shoulder.

Both Mayweather and McGregor have been at it in the social media since their fight speculation has begun. Mayweather tweeted saying, if McGregor really wants to get this fight done then he should take care of his business at the UFC and only then he will have the luxury to talk about the fight.

Reports suggest that the fight will take place sooner rthan expected. The UFC champion successfully applied for the boxing license to fight in California few days back.

As he spoke about the ability to sleep people, McGregor may not be totally wrong to state this. In his professional MMA career, the Irishman has won 21 out of his 24 fights with 18 of those wins are KOs. In his recent bout, he defeated Eddie Alvarez in the second round to win the UFC lightweight championship.

Going up against Mayweather will be quite a test for the notorious fighter. The lucrative nature of this fight frankly hinges on one reason which is - the winner of this high profile bout will get an estimated $1 billion.
