Xiaomi Mi 5c To Feature Chinese Company's First-ever "Pinecone" Chip

Xiaomi, the private owned Chinese company is the world's fourth largest smartphone maker. The cell phone maker uses the latest technology in its upcoming headsets. Some report indicates that Chinese company's first ever chip might arrive in upcoming handset Xiaomi Mi 5c.

There is no doubt that Xiaomi develops more smartphones, apps electronic products for its consumers and gained positive response from them. According to Android Authority, Xiaomi is all ready to introduce its self-developed processors. The first series of Xiaomi processor will be known by the name "Pinecone" and will be used in Xiaomi Mi 5c.

Xiaomi has become the second Chinese Smartphone manufacturer company to produce their own processing unit after "Huawei". It is already in the headlines that Xiaomi is going to launch Xiaomi Mi 5c which will have "Pinecone" chipset.

According to Hindustan times, Xiaomi is working on two types of pinecone processor chips with model numbers V970 and V670. The V970 will be using a 28nm manufacturing process while V670 will be using four cortex A-53 AND A-53 octa-core with a clock speed of 800 MHz AND Mali T860 MP4 GPU. Xiaomi Mi 5C has some special specification i.e. 5.5-inch display with narrow bezels to be powered by 2.2 GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 64GB internal memory with 12-megapixel primary camera and 8-megapixel front camera. The phone will be having android Marshmallow operating system with MIUI 8 and will be having 3,200 mAh battery power.

Thus the company is expecting high profit from the Xiaomi Mi 5c series launch and expecting a positive response from the consumers after the use of new "Pinecone" chip. Even Customers are eagerly waiting for the revelation of this kind of technology and the product to launch in the market. In the global market, market leaders such as Samsung and Apple implemented their own chips, with Exynos processors from Samsung and A range from Apple.
