PlayStation 4 News: Modder Makes PlayStation 4 And PlayStation 4 Pro Into A Slim Model Laptop [VIDEO]

Big news for PlayStation 4 enthusiasts are coming their way. As one modder just recently made a significant innovation for the said device that will surely make PlayStation 4 gamers one happy user.

PlayStation 4 or PS4 as they call it, is one of the eight generation of video game console developed by Sony Computer Entertainment. The device was introduced in February 2013 as the successor to the PlayStation 3 and later launched in North America, South America, Europe and Australia late that year.

Popularity wise, Sony's PlayStation 4 was arguably above rival companies like Nintendo's Wii U and Microsoft's Xbox One. Before the 2016 year end, Sony had already shipped 57.1 million units of the PS4 and as of January 1, 2017, the device already sold 53.4 million units.

Now, one modsmith made one major improvement on the PlayStation 4 and make it more appealing. According to Polygon, Ed Zarick, who is well known for making the laptop version of the PS4 and Xbox One, is back again revolutionizing these game console to a better one.

Zarick is now upgrading the PlayStation 4 into a slim laptop making it the lightest, slimmest and most elegant designed that can will compete with other laptops available in the market. He also take note that these consoles turned laptops don't have batteries but it will sports an HDMI splitter that can plug into a power outlet.

Digital Trends further reports that these PlayStation 4 laptops will feature a 19-inch screen while the PlayStation 4 Pro was commissioned to have a 24-inch display. Zarick readily admits that this is not as portable as the PlayBook 4S but it is still a piece of hardware that user can be proud of.

Zarick is now selling and taking custom orders at a very expensive price. Consumers can buy the PlayBook 4S to Zarick for $1,495 but if it is a custom-built console the cost would be $1,195.
