Microsoft Surface Phone is one of the most anticipated devices of 2017.Many predicted it to be launched in Q1 of 2017; however, a new report suggests that the launch date has been delayed again.

A growing number of speculations regarding the Surface phone is receiving a lot of attention. Reports suggest Microsoft might unveil the Microsoft phone in April this year. According to PCadvisor, Microsoft Surface phone could sport squared metallic body. The phone will have a tough fight with Samsung's S series flagship Smartphones.

As far as specs of Microsoft Surface Phone are concerned, the device is expected to feature Quick charging 4.0 with Snapdragon 835 processor. In terms of viewing experience, Microsoft might sport a 5.5-inch QHD display. Detachable keyboard and pen stylus are also expected in the phone. The phone will run on the Windows 10 with 6GB RAM and 256GB internal memory. In terms of camera device could mark the 16MP primary camera. Still, these are speculated specs as many reports suggest Microsoft is currently working prototypes.

Previous suggestions indicated towards a late 2016 launch of Microsoft Surface Phone. When this didn't happen then speculations regarding a January 2017 launch were made. As per a report published by Channel Pro, the April release of the Microsoft Surface Phone is observed as a sensible move. Since the Microsoft is currently busy fixing the Windows 10 update, it would make perfect sense to equip the hybrid device with the update and consequently launch it. Experts expect Microsoft to launch both, the Windows 10 update and the Surface Phone together.

Fuelling the rumour mill furthermore, Trusted Reviews also recently published an article that quotes Microsoft analyst Paul Thurrott as saying that the Microsoft Surface Smartphone is expected to arrive in the spring of 2017. Stay tune for more tech updates.
