Ronaldinho Consider Gabriel Jesus Can Replace Messi In Future

Brazilian great Ronaldinho has said that Gabriel Jesus the Manchester City's wonder kid can replace Lionel Messi as the best player in the world.

The 19-year-old football player who joined City from Palmeiras in January has already scored 3 goals in his first three starts and also has managed to replace Sergio Aguero the man who was considered as a regular face in the team. Everyone has been praising him for his heroics and Ronaldinho also believes that City's £27million deal from Palmeiras will soon become the best player in the world one day as reported in daily mail.

Gabriel Jesus has played 6 games for Brazil in which he has managed four goals. "Manchester City have a very special player with Gabriel Jesus," Ronaldinho told The Mirror "Maybe even, in the future, the best player in the world. At the moment it is Messi. I have always said that I think one day it will be Neymar. But at 19, in the future, it can be Gabriel. He has all the abilities to make that happen" as reported by ESPN.

Comparing him with the ultimate Messi can be too early because no player in the history of the game has been so consistent and so prolific for such a long time. Neymar was considered as most likely to replace Messi in the future but the path is not so easy for him with his countryman joining the race.

Ronaldinho is also pleased by Pep Guardiola decision to keep Jesus in City's Champions League squad for their round of 16 tie against Morocco. "I don't always agree that players should always be eased in, it depends on the type of player," said the former Barcelona forward and added "You look at Gabriel Jesus and he has no fear at all. He just wants to play and show what he can do. He will put in big performances against Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and all the other top teams in England."

Ronaldinho also said that Ronaldo, Kaka and he himself started playing at a very young age at the highest level and Gabriel falls in that category.
