Samsung Galaxy S8 is seen with many leaks and rumors from past few weeks. Although there is no mentioning about the arrival yet, speculations are high on March 29, 2017. The reports surfacing on the internet claims that Samsung will bring the best features and specifications into it next flagship-Galaxy S8.

After the phone's arrival into the tech market, the foremost comparison is made with its rival smartphones. But, enthusiasts should have a look onto the improvements that are being expected in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 over its previous model-Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

Design: According to Tech Times, it is reported that the Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to feature the same glass sandwich of the Galaxy S7 / S7 edge, but the Galaxy S8 is reported to be not coming with the flat-screen variants. Galaxy S8 flagship is speculated to have two variants-Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.

Both variants are anticipated to carry curved-edge displays with slimmer top and bottom bezels and ditch the physical home button, contributing to a dramatic increase in screen-to-body ratio compared with the Galaxy S7 series. The fingerprint scanner is either expected to feature at the front beneath the screen or at the rear.

Display: According to Express UK, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is reported to arrive with a large 5.8-inch Quad HD display and Galaxy S8 Plus with 6.2-inch QHD AMOLED display model. On the other hand, 5.1-inch and 5.5-inch QHD Super AMOLED screens are seen in the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge flagships respectively. The aspect ratio in Galaxy S8 is expected to be 18.5:9.

Processor, RAM, and Storage: The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895 processor. The processor is expected to be coupled with 4GB RAM or 6GB RAM. The 4GB model reported to be available in select European markets and the 6GB variant will be available in the other tech markets. On the other hand, Galaxy S7 features 4GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumored to jump to 64 GB instead of the 32 GB base model of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. A microSD card slot for expandable memory should be on board as well, just like on the 2016 generation.

Camera: The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have an impressive 12MP rear camera with Dual Pixel focus systems and it is highly expected that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature 12MP camera as well but with improvements than the previous one.

Launch and release date: Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge were launched on February 21 and were released to the market on March 11. After Samsung's announcement on not launching the Samsung Galaxy S8 at MWC, it is highly expected that the phone will hit the tech market on March 29 and on stores in mid-April.
