BlackBerry DTEK50, DTEK60 Are Now On Valentine's Day Sale [VIDEO]

BlackBerry may not be a mobile paradise and not a customer's delight anymore, but the company is trying to win back some love by offering a cheap price sale for Valentine's day. Most notably, the company will offer the BlackBerry DTEK50 and DTEK60 handsets at a discount rate.

These are two BlackBerry handsets that were originally built by TCL and was rebranded with BlackBerry name. They also offer both Android version of the company, along with Hub and few other features attached.

The customers will get a good amount of discounts on the phones, DTEK50 normally costs $299 but there will be $40 discount on the day, so the cost is $259. DTEK60 normally costs $499, but customers will get a discount of $50, so the cost will cut down to $449.

The two BlackBerry may not be one of the most powerful around in their categories, but by the specifications and features, they are not at all bad. The DTEK50 is basically a revised version of Alcatel Idol 4, which also was built by TCL. The phone features a Snapdragon 617 SoC, along with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, while around 6GB of that is taken up by the system settings and built-in apps. Customers will also get a 13MP rear-facing camera and an 8MP front-facing wide-angle camera, which in turn is one of the better selling points in the phone.

On the other hand, the BlackBerry DTEK60 is a slightly more powerful device, consisting a Snapdragon 820 processor, along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device also has a fingerprint scanner along with a 21MP rear-facing camera with a f/2.0 aperture, and an 8MP front-facing camera. A powerful phone which will be great money-saver if bought on Valentine's day deal.

Along with putting these two phones on sale, BlackBerry has also offered the BlackBerry Priv at $449, the BlackBerry Passport at $349 and the BlackBerry leap at $199.
