Star striker Karim Benzema seems to have decided to sign a new contract with Real Madrid till 2022. The Frenchman is under huge pressure this season due to the lack of his prolific form. In the 2016-17 season, Benzema has scored 12 goals in 27 games for Real.

According to AS, Benzema can sign a new contract with Madrid at the end of the current season. Many Football experts believe that Los Blancos coach and President are the great fan of Karim's talent and want to keep him with the club. While fans are not happy with striker's recent form.

According to Express, Benzema is linked with the Arsenal heavily in the recent weeks. Reports suggest Madrid have also set the price of the forward. The Emirates club wants a world class striker and undoubtedly Benzema might have been a super choice for the English Club. If Karim decides to stay at Bernabeu, this could be a huge setback for the Arsene Wenger side.

This is not the first time the English side linked with the former Lyon player. The Gunners were in the hunt for Los Blancos' striker since many years. Currently, Wenger's side sitting four at the EPL table.

While Karim Benzema's future at Madrid is still not clear. The likes of Manchester United, Inter Milan, Chelsea and some Chinese club have shown the interest in Real's forward.

Real Madrid is also reportedly searching for the striker's options in case Benzema leaves. The Club recently linked with Paulo Dybala, Sergio Aguero and Aubameyang to bolster their striking option.
