The New England Patriots are still very fresh from claiming the Super Bowl LI championship after beating the Atlanta Falcons with a score of 34-28 in overtime. The Patriots rolled off to a 31 unanswered points, which is the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history.

The Patriots are led by star quarterback Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick. Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time while Belichick is perhaps the greatest coaching minds in NFL history. The partnership of these two legends piloted five Super Bowls in seven appearances.

And according to ESPN, both Brady and Belichick looked like they are getting ready for another Super Bowl run. Brady is starting to get a word to the Patriots that he would like to play for three more seasons, at the least. Belichick, on the other hand, is thinking about the team's sixth championship run and has already started to form his lineup for the future.

A good evidence that Belichick is already preparing the Patriots for another Super Bowl run is when he traded Chandler Jones to Arizona Cardinals in exchange for a 2016 draft pick. In the 2016 draft, the Patriots got Malcolm Mitchell in the fourth round and Joe Thuney in the third round. The team also traded linebacker Jamie Colins to the Cleveland Browns for a 2017 third round draft pick.

Collins and Jones were Super Bowl champions two years ago. Last month, Collins signed a four-year, $50 million dollar deal with the Browns. On the other hand, Jones is expected to sign a $15.3 million deal in Arizona.

The Patriots have around $63 million in cap space heading into the offseason, as per Bleacher Report. They can use this to add a new talent, re-sign players or reserve it to be use in the coming years.

Although the chances that the Patriots getting back to another Super Bowl duel next season is not that high, reaching the Super Bowl LII is still not out of the question. Considering how well Brady and Belichick worked together to make the Patriots a Super Bowl contender.

So these two outstanding football geniuses will savor this championship title for now. But once their weary mind and body recharged, their competitive fire and passion for the game will be put on display once again. They will get back to work soon as they prepare for their sixth Super Bowl championship.
