Trade rumors between Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love and New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony seems to be not fading away and still continue the hot topic of news today. Recent reports are now saying that LeBron James OK's the idea of trading Love and get the chance to play alongside good buddy Anthony.

Anthony and Love have been the subject of the rumor mills for a couple of weeks. Both players were already rumored to switch places before the regular season starts but the swap didn't happen. During that time, Kevin Love was said to be a disappointment the previous season making him always a candidate to be traded. But now, he is producing impressive numbers this season and has proven his worth to the team.

On the other hand, Melo has been into controversy after expressing his frustration with the poor performance of the Knicks. Aside from that, rumors are spreading that Knicks president Phil Jackson wants him out of the team and trading him could be better for the team. However, Carmelo Anthony has a no-trade clause in his contract giving him control of his future.

But the latest news is saying that LeBron James appears to be the one instigating of bringing Melo to the Cavs camp. According to ESPN, James allegedly OK's the deal between Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks and "pushing" the swap of Kevin Love and Carmelo Anthony.

It is no secret that LeBron wants to play with Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul, his best friends, before they hang their sneakers and this could be an opportunity to somehow make it happen for Melo and LBJ. All of them is not young anymore and Melo wants to win a championship that eluded him for 13 years.

CBSSports also reported that though the Cleveland Cavaliers franchise is against trading Kevin Love, King James have a big say when it comes to team decision and movement even if it means moving the 8-year NBA veteran from UCLA. There is also a notion that Phil Jackson would love to move Anthony before the February trade deadline.

However, when James was asked about his role and the possible deal between the Cavs and Knicks in bringing in Anthony, he never confirms the agreement and said that he just focus on making his team better and competitive.

Will the Kevin Love and Carmelo Anthony deal finally happen? Is LeBron James really behind it?
