Ronda Rousey's fighting career is near to an end according to the UFC President Dana White. During an interview this Monday on the UFC Unfiltered post, Dana White said that he spoke to Ronda Rousey and there were no indications about her getting back to fight again. Dana was not sure about former women's Bantamweight champion's future following her loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207.
"It's funny you asked me that today, I literally talked to her this morning on the way to the gym," White spoke in response to Norton's question and added "She's good, man. Her spirits are good. She's doing her thing. In the conversation that I had with her, If I had to say right here, right now - and, again, I don't like saying right here, right now, it's up to her and her thing - but I wouldn't say she fights again. I think she's probably done. She's going to ride off into the sunset and start living her life outside of fighting" as reported in Rolling Stone.
Ronda Rousey became the UFC's first female champion in the year 2012. She defended her title of women's bantamweight belt for six times. She dipped down after her loss in the year 2015 to Holly Holm at UFC 193. Then after a long period when she returned to fight against Amanda Nunes of December 30 she lost badly. She was knocked out in 48 seconds by Nunes as reported in yahoo.
Ronda Rousey who is 29 has been out of sight recently. She did go to Standing Rock for helping the protestors with fruits, tents, and stoves for the Protestors. Ronda has also been found bashing The US President Trump's new policies on social sites.
According to White, Ronda Rousey has got some plans and she should continue. She has brought up the standards of female fighting and inspired many women fighters. There is still no official announcement about her retirement but it might be just a matter of time now.
