Lionel Messi's contract renewal is the matter of concern these days for the Barca fans and also about the life at the Camp Nou after the Argentina captain has left according to the survey carried out by the clubs' bi-annual survey.
The current deal of Messi expires in the year 2018. There are other players too like Busquets, Neymar and Suarez - whose contracts are solved but Rakitic, Ter Stegen and Luis Enrique to be done yet but Messi's contract is the biggest matter of concern as reported in sports.
The club director Oscar Grau and Pere Gratacos gave few statements because of which these doubts were created about Messi although Barca is confident that he will continue to play until 2022. Robert Fernandez the Sporting Director has assured that the discussions are going well along with Josep Maria Bartomeu who will personally handle all the negotiations required in this matter.

"In the previous survey [in June], Messi's contract renewal did not appear as a concern or a challenge for the future," Josep said and added, "It's appeared this time because we have begun talks over Messi's new deal. But its position, whether first or sixth, does not mean it's more or less important [than the other concerns raised]."
Josep denied on adding anything further about Messi. Worries over Messi's court cases with the tax office and other cases surrounding Neymar have reduced from June.
