Xiaomi, the tech giant is expected to launch its next flagship Xiaomi Mi 5C in February 2017. Xiaomi Mi 5C spotted on online certification website in China hints its arrival and other four different Xiaomi models were also spotted. Reports also claim that Xiaomi will bring best specifications and features into its upcoming flagship Xiaomi Mi 5C.

One of the most recent leaks on Xiaomi Mi 5C flagship is the appearance in online certification website. The phone was spotted by GizmoChina, the China Quality Certification center aka 3C. The listing reveals five different Xiaomi variants that have undergone certification and the variants have different model numbers such as 2105212, 2016089, 2016101, MAE136 and MBE6A5.

Out of these model numbers, it is reported that the MAE136 is assumed to be none other than Mi 5C which is also codenamed as 'Meri.' The leaks indicate that Xiaomi Mi 5C will be fuelled by a 5V/2A power adapter, which means that the device will not support the current high voltage fast charge technology.

According to BGR, It is reported that Xiaomi Mi 5C design looks very similar to the flagship Xiaomi Mi 5 in the front. The only change found is the new device features a 2.5 glass, giving it a premium look. At the back, there's no 3D glass treatment but expected to have a soft aluminum unibody with cutouts for the camera and antenna bands at the top and bottom ends.

Other features that the Xiaomi Mi 5C is likely to sport is a 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch display with 2.5D curved glass, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a 12MP rear camera and 8MP front-facing selfie shooter. The device will run on MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow. It could also be powered by Snapdragon 625 processor.

Xioami has not made any official statement on its upcoming flagship-Xiaomi Mi 5C. Stay tuned for more updates.
