Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone will be the critical flagship for Samsung after what was seen in the Galaxy Note 7. Samsung is assumed to be making all sorts of preparations for its upcoming Galaxy S8 and it is speculated that the phone is likely to hit the tech market on March 29, 2017 and will go on sale on April 21, 2017.

According to The Gaurdian, it is reported that Samsung Galaxy S8 will come in two size variants. Both the variants will sport a dual-edge curved display. The two different variants of Galaxy S8 will have 5-inches and 6-inches screen.

The report is seen to be matching with the earlier rumors, which indicated that the phone will have 5.7inch and 6.2-inch screens and dual edge display. Also, reports also claimed that the Korean tech giant will put an end to flat screen phones. The variants will sport 64GB of inbuilt storage with the option to expand further via a microSD slot (up to 256GB).

Earlier reports claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will arrive in Mobile World congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona, Spain. But, according to BGR, it is reported that the company's chief ruled out the rumor on the Samsung Galaxy S8 launch at MWC 2017. It is reported that MWC was the traditional platform for Samsung to launch its new flagships and release the launched flagships into the tech market in the month of March.

However, this year after the confirmation from Samsung's chief, MWC will not witness the launch of Samsung Galaxy S8 flagship. It is also reported that Samsung might put a rigorous testing procedure in place to avoid the incident that was seen in Galaxy Note 7.

Samsung Galaxy S8 is speculated to have improvement in the front camera and is expected to introduce autofocus for its selfie lens as well. Also, the report tips that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will have an iris recognition feature that was earlier seen in the Galaxy Note 7. This feature will allow users to unlock their Smartphone just by looking at it.

It is also reported that the camera will be able to identify objects in its frame, a feature that arrives thanks to the rumored new assistant Bixby. Apparently, Bixby will work with native apps to enhance performance.
