After a hot start this season, the Los Angeles Lakers' campaign this season is now in jeopardy after consecutive losses. Currently, the Lakers are now at the bottom of the Western Conference standings holding a 16-32 win-loss record. Recent report suggests that a trade deal with the Phoenix Suns might change their fortunes around.

The Suns are also suffering the same fate as the Lakers. They are just one spot ahead of the Lakers for the last place in the WC division and are expected of not making it to the postseason. They are not new in trade deals and trading some of their star players could possibly improve their standings.

On the other hand, many believed that the Lakers still lack veteran players to stabilize the team and their young core needs to improve more. Many think that they should consider of tweaking their lineup and try to explore the trade market. Latest report is saying that one player on their roster is already lined up for trade.

According to CBSSports, Lou Williams is among several players that could be a potential steal on the trade market. Just recently, his playing minutes started to decrease heating up speculation that the Lakers management is already thinking of moving him.

The report also says that the Lakers organization must start of turning over Williams' duty to D'Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, and Brandon Ingram if they are decided of trading him. Though Williams seems to be fit in coach Luke Walton's system, it doesn't mean that he is untouchable. And now, one report floated that he could be one on the Lakers roster that might be moved to another team.

According to Lake Show Life, the Los Angeles Lakers seems to be targeting of upgrading the shooting guard spot on their roster. And it appears that the Phoenix Suns have the asset the Lakers are just looking for but it will also cost them some valuable players.

Trade scenario is suggesting that the Lakers will send Lou Williams, Nick Young and José Calderon to the Suns in exchange for Brandon Knight and P.J. Tucker. Having Williams and Young will give the Suns additional firepower in offense while Calderon will be another option in the point.

Meanwhile, the Lakers will come away with combo guard Knight who can play well alongside Russell while they can benefit from Tucker's recent rise a dependable small forward. The trade will also satisfy NBA trade and salary cap rules making it a legal deal for both teams.

However, the rumored deal between the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns involving Lou Williams, Nick Young, Brand Knight and P.J. Tucker are still speculation as none of the teams involved have confirmed the trade.
