Sony, the Japanese tech giant, has pulled out the Android 7.0 Nougat firmware update in its Xperia Z5 flagships, Xperia Z3+, and Xperia Z4 tablet . The Xperia Z5 smartphone family experienced performance issues after the smartphones were updated with Android 7.0 Nougat update.

According to Xperia Blog, it is reported that the Android 7.0 Nougat firmware update was released to the Xperia Z5 family earlier this week. The release of the firmware found on the Xperia Z5 devices had a build number 32.3.A.0.372.

Soon, after the phone was update to Android 7.0 Nougat OS, the users of the Xperia Z5 experienced performance issues. Sony after learning the issue halted the rollout of update into its Xperia Z5 devices and it is also reported that the Android 7.0 Nougat update is now nowhere to be found on Sony's servers.

After the disappearance of the Android 7.0 Nougat update from the devices, the users reported that the devices were earlier found with the update and recently. nothing is available. Following these reports, the company has confirmed to Xperia Blog that the update has indeed been put on hold temporarily.

According to Gadgets NDTV, Sony said in a statement to Xperia blog, "We were made aware of reports from some users experiencing inconsistencies related to audio playback via third-party apps and SD card encrypted data read performance, after upgrading to Android 7.0, Nougat. We've identified the root cause and are aiming to provide corrective firmware and re-commence the rollout as soon as possible." Sony said in a statement to Xperia blog.

As per the statement from Sony, the company is expected to make corrective actions to the flaws in the Android 7.0 Nougat update and soon the users are expected to witness the second release of the Google's amazingly made Android operating system update.

It is also reported that the Japanese Company had already covered all the devices for the Android 7.0 Nougat and due to the performance issues, the company pulled over the update back.
