Amazon is the first company to bring the smart home voice appliance; Echo into the tech market in 2014 and Google released its device Google Home against Amazon Echo.

Amazing made Google Home has a battle with the Amazon Echo in the home appliances tech market. The selection between the two is though dependent on the enthusiasts who find the features of either device amazing.

Amazon Echo and Google Home are designed cylindrically. Amazon has designed Echo a bit taller and includes a blue ring at its top. The ring is found t be glowing when the user interacts with it and it is one of the appealing things which the device has. On the other hand, Google Home is a bit squatter with a white top molding. The device holds four colored lights on it and the user at the bottom half can customize with various colors.

Google Home has the ability to connect five smart home integrations like the Google Chromecast, Philips Hue, Nest, SmartThings, and IFTTT currently. There are chances of more additions to the smart home integration system by Google Home in the coming future.

Amazon Echo was launched earlier and Alexa, Amazon's assistant has many smart home device support features like the Philips Hue, Nest, WeMo, Wink, SmartThings, iDevices, Insteon etc.

Amazon Echo's Alexa voice assistant is built smart and has amazing features. But, the Google Home's 'My Day' feature helps in getting all the user required information's by going through Google Maps and much other information based sites to keep the user relaxed and Google's assistant is more than a personal assistant to the user.

User's first and foremost experience with the devices like Amazon Echo and Google Home will be playing music on a voice command. Amazon Echo has access to Prime Music, Spotify (premium), Pandora, TuneIn, iHeartRadio and Audible. Whereas, Google Home has access to YouTube Music, Spotify, Pandora, Google Play Music and TuneIn. Google Home has missing Bluetooth pairing which is seen in the Amazon Echo.

Google Home is cheaper than the Amazon Echo. Amazon Echo has a price tag of $180 and Google Home is at $130.
