Latest reports suggest that the highly anticipated 'Pokemon Go' Gen 2 update could be arriving very soon, in fact as soon as March. Most notably, the wildly popular game 'Pokemon Go' topped almost all the gaming charts when it was released last year.

But, the real interest of gamers in the Pokemon game is dropping gradually, so in order to gain back the parity and interest of the gamers, Nintendo will be soon rolling out a update which is expected to bring features like a slew of new Pokemon characters.

According to a Forbes report, Nintendo might roll out the eagerly awaited 'Pokemon Go' Gen 2 update on the first day of spring itself, March 21. As in the case in other leaks and rumors, this one should be taken with a great importance as Niantic hasn't yet revealed anything about the upcoming update.

As reported by another game website, The Silph Road, has some uncovered clues in the latest 'Pokemon Go' patch that clearly suggests that Niantic is gearing up for a big Gen 2 release. The patch has revealed 38 new moves that have been added to the game.

A large number of newly discovered moves are specifically learned by Gen 2 Pokemon like Slash, Iron Tail and Hex and some new charge-up moves like mirror coat, Crunch and Zap Cannon. In addition to these, new debugging options have also been revealed in the mine including categories for Gender, Costume, Species, Form and Shiny.

If these claims turns out to be true then we might expect 'Pokemon Go' Gen 2 update to arrive with new gender options, costume choices and a long awaited Shiny Pokemon. It should be worth noted that none of these features are currently loaded in the game.

But these features are expected to roll out for the gamers very soon, the arrival of these new updates will bring the gamers' interest and the game can restore its somewhat lost parity.
