Super Bowl 2017, the 51st edition of the sporting extravaganza, is scheduled to be held at the NRG Stadium this coming month. Fans travelling to Houston can easily look forward to a whole week of festivities and events ahead of the big game on 5th February.

The fans who are not willing to pay a heavy amount ($US 4,200) on the Super Bowl Live Event can attend other parties, events and festivals that will be held in the Houston area starting in the final weekend of January 2017.

Apart from privately-organised events, the league will host the official 'NFL Experience' at the George R. Brown Convention Centre downtown in Houston which will be staged during the weekend of Jan 28-29 and run through the first week of February.

This event will provide the ultimate fan experience to football afficandos through interactive games, player autograph sessions, merchandise exhibits, football clinics and other events that are pretty much fan-based. According to league's official website, the event is priced at US$35 for adults and $US25 for children aged 12 years or below. Tickets can be purchased by several of the online vendors.

Fans can also attend a NASA-engineered virtual-reality exhibit, musical concerts, interactive exhibits and a ton of interesting events. Super Bowl LIVE, which is set to be held at the Discovery Green Park, will include concerts from musicians with strong Texas ties such as ZZ Top, Leon Bridges, The Suffers and the host of other performers in the City.
